Better Edge offers tutoring in three of the professional exams: the LSAT, GMAT, and GRE. While each exam prioritizes a certain degree of quantitative reasoning, all three are strongly rooted in the core of the humanities: reading comprehension, vocabulary, essay writing, analytical and logical reasoning.
How It Works
As with all one-on-one tutoring, we offer a free 1-hour first session.
Using a previous exam you have taken or a new diagnostic test, we will determine your projected score as well as your strengths and weaknesses in each section of the exam. In one-on-one tutoring sessions, we will focus on those sections that could raise your score most significantly. For LSAT test-takers, this often ends up being the Analytical Reasoning section (the logic games); for most GMAT test-takers, the Analytical Writing Analysis (the essay) or the Verbal section; and for GRE test-takers, it tends to be the Issue Essay and Argument Essay.
Students embarking on a career in law, business, and graduate studies might appreciate a chance to save money while studying for the exam. If you are willing to work with a group of 2-5 students studying for the same exam, the cost would be approximately half the price of individual tutoring rates.
For Group Classes, the cost ranges from $35/hour (for classes with 3 or more students) to $40/hour (classes with two students). In order to keep the group rate low, we require that students pay in advance each month.
